Department of Mathematics and Informatics

We provide the teaching of compulsory subjects in all study programs at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně. The aim of our courses is to teach students to solve specific problems using appropriate mathematical and statistical methods and information systems to support management and cognitive activities in the socio-economic sphere. The department’s professional focus is primarily on statistical data analysis.
