University Dormitories at Klíše – The place to experience real student life! The dormitories consist of three buildings which are called rather straight-forwardly: K1, K2, K3, and they are located within a ten-minute walking distance from the campus. If your legs feel tired, you can make use of a trolleybus (52,58,59) or a bus (2, 7, 1, 23, 41) and get off at the “Klíše lázně” bus stop. The bus stop is right in front of the dormitories and the timetables are to be found on the IDOS app.

Start by charging your student chip card, for if you have a charged card, you can purchase one main course on the daily menu for cheaper. We recommend you to try two establishments – though lacking a Michelin star, the establishments offer pretty nice and cheap meals: MENZA CPTO in the new building within the UJEP campus and the 50-bar within the premises of the Pedagogical Faculty, České mládeže 8. Would you prefer a nice cup of coffee, a bowl of soup, or something to snack on? Then visit Literární kavárna in the UJEP Research Library.

The UJEP Research Library was created in 2013 by connecting five faculty libraries. It is located in a modern building within the premises of the campus. It secures comprehensive library and information services at the UJEP. The library offers 212 study places, 37 PCs, 4 study rooms, and a Wi-Fi connection. The library provides around 335 000 library units, 95 000 of which are available to be selected freely right in the library. 

If you wish to have your English or German knowledge verified by an internationally recognised certificate over the course of your studies, you have come to the right place. Our Department of Foreign Languages is a certified administrator for Cambridge Exams, Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch, and CaMLA.

If you feel like representing the UJEP in any of the 12 sport disciplines, just do it! Any student of any faculty in the daily or distance form of study may take part – there are no age restrictions. The list of the sports and guarantors with whom to sign up is to be found HERE.
