We are proud to announce that the European Commission, through its Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs, has appointed our colleague Slávka Karkošková as a member of the expert group “Network for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.”
This network, established by Commission Decision C(2025) 5252 of 29 July 2025, brings together specialists from across the European Union who work jointly to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation, both online and offline.
During her four-year mandate, our expert will provide the European Commission with specialized advice and expertise, contribute to the development of EU guidelines, and support the implementation of policy initiatives focused on child protection.
Her appointment represents not only a recognition of her individual expertise but also the trust placed in the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies, UJEP, as a respected academic partner in the field of social policy, security, and public interest research.
Participation in an expert group of the European Commission highlights how FSE UJEP experts actively contribute to addressing key challenges of contemporary European society.
The faculty continues to strengthen its role as a place where academic excellence meets practice and social responsibility. This achievement is both a personal success and a prestigious acknowledgment for the entire Faculty of Social and Economic Studies, UJEP.
