LAND4CLIMATE project successfully continues with its first Peer-to-Peer Event

The LAND4CLIMATE project continues to make significant progress, reinforcing its mission to implement and expand nature-based solutions (NbS) across Europe. The recent Peer-to-Peer Learning Event, held on January 16, 2025, marked a key milestone in fostering cross-regional collaboration and sharing best practices.

Organized by Czech partners Krásná Lípa and the České Švýcarsko National Park, the online event brought together representatives from local and regional institutions across all six European regions participating in the project. The event provided an opportunity for pilot and replicating regions to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and explore practical solutions for NbS implementation.

A key highlight of the event was the emphasis on cross-border cooperation to ensure the scalability and replication of NbS initiatives. Experts, local authorities, activists, and academic representatives engaged in insightful discussions, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainable regional development.

As one of the academic partners, the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies at UJEP (FSE UJEP) is proud to be actively involved in the project. The faculty contributes to research and knowledge exchange, supporting the development of effective strategies for NbS implementation.

With five more Peer-to-Peer Learning Events planned, the LAND4CLIMATE project remains dedicated to strengthening climate resilience through knowledge-sharing and collaboration. FSE UJEP looks forward to continuing its engagement in this transformative initiative.
