Experience as a Competitive Advantage: IntegrAGE Presents an Inspiring Film

The IntegrAGE project, supported by the Interreg Danube Region Programme, focuses on promoting the labour market integration of workers aged 55+ across the Danube Region and spreading age-friendly workplace practices. Through international cooperation among partner countries, the project provides companies with practical guidance and inspiration on how to better utilise the experience of older employees, strengthen intergenerational collaboration, and create sustainable and inclusive working environments.

A key part of the project is the newly released film, which presents one age-friendly company from each partner country. Through short interviews, it showcases concrete measures that help companies keep their 55+ employees active, motivated, and supported. The film highlights practices such as work–life balance support, wellbeing initiatives, maintaining productivity, and building a company culture where the skills and experience of older employees are fully recognised.

In the context of demographic change and evolving labour markets, finding new approaches to engage and retain older employees is increasingly important. The film demonstrates that companies across the region are already implementing innovative and human-centred solutions that contribute to more resilient organisations and more inclusive workplaces.

🎥 Watch the film and get inspired by examples of companies that are already creating more resilient and inclusive workplaces not only in the Czech Republic but also in Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For the Czech Republic, we feature Aperam in Ústí nad Labem, which demonstrates how to systematically support employees aged 55+, foster intergenerational collaboration, and build an environment where experience truly matters.
