Posedla and VirginGrip company as participants of the GREENE 4.0 workshop

As part of the international GREENE 4.0 project, we have spent almost a full year of cooperation with partners from Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Italy and the Czech Republic. And one of our goals is to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in new challenges – green and digital transformation and an open innovation approach – we participated in a partner workshop in Ljubljana in January and subsequently organized a workshop in Ústí nad Labem.

Our task, in cooperation with partners and Czech and foreign representatives of SMEs, in the further course of the project, is to design and test support mechanisms for SMEs for the introduction of digital and “green” technologies to ensure efficient and sustainable production.

In Ústí nad Labem, we enthusiastically welcomed one of the founders of Posedla Jiří Dužár and the CEO of VirginGrip from Tisá. While Posedla deals with custom 3D printed bicycle seats, VirginGrip produces the main polyurethane climbing holds, the production is 40% from renewable sources.

Both representatives gave us their own experience, shared the needs and challenges they face in the green digital transformation and commented on the progress of the project so far, which is more than beneficial for our professional team and all partners.

In addition, we have prepared a tour of the university laboratories in the CPTO building (Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of the Environment) for partners and company representatives.

Together, we can shape a greener and digitally advanced future for industries around the world.

The GREENE 4.0 project was supported by the European Union from the Interreg Central Europe program.
