Final dissemination conference of the D-Care project
On 16.11.2022, the final dissemination conference of the D-Care project was held under the leadership of UJEP, in conjunction with the meeting of the Digital Health Platform.
The conference, which took place at the Innovation Centre Ústí nad Labem, was the last regional event of the project.
It brought together a number of very interesting personalities from the private (e.g. DNAnexus, DNAI, Caelestinus incubator, Pilulka Lab), academic and public spheres, offering inspiration, for example, in the field of innovative technologies, work with biomedical data or the activities of business incubators.
The results of the project were summarised, with an emphasis on the Smart Care Lab as a platform for exploring and co-creating innovations in social services. This will be integrated under the Digital Health Platform after the project.
The afternoon part was dedicated to the activities of the Digital Health Platform with the new coordinator, Tereza Okurková from the Innovation Centre of the Ústí nad Labem Region, who is responsible for innovative health and social services.
In addition to the discussion on defining the agenda of the platform, suggestions were also made on the possibilities of financing cooperation, research, development and innovation with an emphasis on the area of health and social services. There was also a view on systemic solutions from the representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
The project will formally end on 31.12.2022, but discussions are already underway on the continuation of the project to further develop the environment towards the use of innovation in the field of health care and active and healthy ageing of the population of our region.
