Connecting Generations in the Labour Market: FSE UJEP Participates in the IntegrAGE
How can we make better use of the potential of an ageing population in the labour market while also strengthening intergenerational cooperation? These are some of the key questions addressed by the international IntegrAGE project, in which the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (FSE UJEP) is actively involved as a project partner.

The project focuses on supporting workers aged 55+ and their active participation in the labour market. Its aim is not only to extend their economic activity, but above all to make effective use of their experience, knowledge and skills. These represent significant value not only for employers, but also for society as a whole.
At the same time, IntegrAGE highlights the importance of intergenerational cooperation. Combining the experience of older employees with the fresh perspectives and energy of younger generations can lead to better results, higher productivity and a more inclusive working environment.
The project also delivers practical tools and outputs, including age management strategies, educational programmes, mentoring activities and an online platform focused on sharing good practice.
The topic is also presented in the video “MLADOST IN ZRELOST V OBJEMU”, published by one of the Slovenian project partners, Družstvo Jasa. The video underlines the importance of connecting the experience of older workers with the innovative approaches of younger generations.
